I'm a wedding, elopement, and engagement photographer specializing in storytelling and true to life photography!
There are usually two things people automatically envision when they hear a couple eloped. People either think of going to the courthouse or running off to Vegas! These two did just that; they “ran off” to Vegas! However, there was more planning than just spontaneously (and drunkenly) getting hitched in front of Elvis. Nicole and Austin has the full Las Vegas Elopement experience.
If you want something fun, quick, and easy, then Vegas makes a great option! Little White Wedding Chapel is iconic; Ben Affleck & J Lo, Brittney Spears, Frank Sinatra, and the list goes on and on, have all been married here.
Nikki & Austin scheduled their time slot two months in advance at the chapel. This helped ensure they could get married on the exact day (and time) they wanted. If you’re considering eloping here, I highly recommend scheduling your time slot. There were several couples in line waiting to get married, and if you were a walk-in, you had to wait several hours. You can schedule your time slot here!
From start to finish, it was a super quick process, under 30 minutes! The ceremony itself takes under 10 minutes. You can drive your own car through the tunnel, go inside their little chapel, and get married there, or say “I do” in the back of the pink Cadillac!
Las Vegas is a popular destination for elopements due to its numerous wedding chapels, entertainment options, and a generally relaxed attitude toward quick and easy weddings! Despite eloping, you can still include your family in your elopement day. Nikki and Austin had their families come with them to celebrate becoming husband and wife. After their ceremony they headed back to their hotel to hang out and get ready for their evening of fun!
Getting photos with family was important to them. I found a studio, The Landing Space; it was perfect and fit everyone. Their family came dressed up and wearing all black, which was perfect so they all coordinated! If you’re looking for a place to take family photos after your wedding or elopement in Las Vegas, this studio is perfect.
After their family photos they headed to dinner at the Eiffle Tower in Las Vegas! There’s so many amazing places to eat in Vegas and this is one that is perfect for a wedding day.
Las Vegas offers endless options for celebrating your newlywed status. You can dine at world-class restaurants, catch a show, or try your luck at the casinos. Here are some ideas for celebrating in Vegas after saying, “I do!”
Las Vegas has endless things to do, sights to see, and places to eat! That’s why this place is so perfect whether you want to explore, or you want to relax and have a stress free elopement.
You might be wondering how much it costs to have me as your photographer in Las Vegas when I live in Phoenix. My answer to this isn’t a set number since there are a couple variables, but I’ll elaborate on what goes into the fee. For Nikki and Austin’s elopement I was able to find a direct flight in and out of Las Vegas the same day. I arrived in Las Vegas around 10am and left that evening around 7pm. If I am able to find a flight in and out the same day then my travel fee is just the cost of my flight and $50 for Uber fees. If I need to stay the night it’s the same cost + whatever the lodging cost is for the night. On average flights are under $100 from Phoenix to Vegas, just to give you an idea!
