The wedding of Lexi and Austin will go down in history as one of my favorite days to capture! Let me start by saying, I just adore these two so much. It was apparent that everyone who attended their wedding day felt the exact same way as me. Their fall nuptials took place at a stunning romantic wedding venue in Phoenix that offered beautiful views, great food, and a space to cultivate an amazing party!
The Wedding Venue
Nestled atop the picturesque North Mountain, Different Point of View in Phoenix, Arizona, offers not only breathtaking panoramic views but also an idyllic setting for couples seeking a romantic wedding. As the sun sets over the cityscape, a magical atmosphere sets the stage for a truly romantic celebration. This space is perfect for couples seeking a romantic wedding venue!
Before The Ceremony
Before the gorgeous sunset ceremony, Lexi and Austin opted to do a first look and take bride and groom photos. They also fit in taking bridal party photos and family photos, which is a great way to structure your wedding day timeline to enjoy cocktail hour with your guests! This venue is unique compared to other venues in the Phoenix area. It’s not the typical desert venue, and the architecture is different than what you typically see!
The Romantic Wedding Details
Furthermore, there were so many details that made this wedding romantic and intimate. Here are a few of my favorites:
- The rose petals down the aisle – I loved the amount of rose petals scattered on the ground for the wedding ceremony. Something about a flower-filled event is so beautiful.
- The mariachi band – I loved that they included a mariachi band in their evening. They played as their guests were being seated for the ceremony and stayed throughout the evening. It was a huge hit!
- The candle-lit dinner – Since this venue is a restaurant first, they have the dining area set up wonderfully. The candle-lit dinner was gorgeous and set the tone for a romantic wedding dinner.
Sunset Ceremony With A View
Imagine exchanging your vows surrounded by the stunning desert landscape and the city lights twinkling in the distance. The outdoor ceremony space at Different Point of View provides an intimate setting for couples to declare their love. With the sun setting behind you, the golden hour adds a warm and romantic glow to the moment you say, “I do.”
Being a witness to this union was so special; so many of their family and friends had tears in their eyes as they listened to the exchange of their personal vows. If you’re looking for a romantic wedding venue, having a great ceremony location and view is key. And Different Point of View has just that!
The Party
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the celebration took on a new level of romance. The outdoor terrace became a magical space for toasts, dancing, and revelry under the stars. Guests can savor signature cocktails while enjoying the cool desert breeze and the twinkling lights of the city below. Furthermore, both during cocktail hour and the reception, you could find the guests taking in the setting and scenery!
Unique Elements
There were two elements to Lexi and Austin’s wedding day that I walked away obsessed with. The first is a live painter! Paige Reesor is an incredible artist and a vendor you WANT for your wedding day! Not only was this a huge hit among their guests, but everyone loved watching Paige paint. Moreover, being able to have something tangible to hold onto and hang in your home from your wedding day is so incredible! Additionally, she also created an alternative to the traditional guest book that was there for the guests to sign. The art piece featured important elements and places that gave an ode to Lexi and Austin’s lives and love story. You can reach out to Paige here!
The second element that I fell in love with was the cigar bar. And all of their guests loved it as well! Additionally, it was so fun to see the reactions of the guests and their excitement. Casey and Jon came from Houston and while they were in town for the weekend they wanted to take their engagement photos, so we made it happen. I love that I’ve had so many couples reach out and say they’re coming from out of state and want to book a desert engagement session while they’re visiting Arizona. I think the desert is absolutely beautiful, and such a fun and unique place to take photos!
