Downtown Phoenix rooftop engagement sessions have grown in popularity in the recent years! It’s a fun and different alternative to the desert scenery. Lily and Gabe absolutely nailed their engagement session and this rooftop was the perfect setting for them!

There’s something so romantic and dreamy about the urban setting for an engagement session. There are endless possibilities regarding “vibes”, outfits, locations, etc! Below I’m sharing some of my favorite ideas for engagement sessions taking place in downtown Phoenix!

• Glitz and Glam – take your engagement session to another level by wearing something fancy! Two of my favorite places for classy and fun bridal dresses are Untamed Petals and 12th Tribe.
• Casual and Laidback – Think longboards, checkered vans, pizza and your go-to drink.
• Bar Hopping – There are so many fun bars in downtown Phoenix, and most are accepting of you taking photos inside (especially if you order a drink). My best advice is to call ahead and see if they’re okay with that so your plan doesn’t go awry! Check out this fun engagement session that I did last summer.
• Staycation – There are some awesome hotels in downtown Phoenix that you could utilize for your engagement session! During this engagement session I did, we used the hotels iconic elevator for a photo-op!

Where To Take Photos In Downtown Phoenix

Lily and Gabe not only took photos on top of a Downtown Phoenix Rooftop, but they also headed down to the street and we got photos of them strolling around! I highly recommend choosing a location or place in downtown where you can get two different views, this allows for more variety in your gallery. There are tons of locations in Downtown Phoenix that make perfect photo spots, I recommend picking out the vibe you’re going for first. This will help narrow down spots!
